Martin Schildt
Martin is a Director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice and is specialised in Financial Due Diligence as well as advisory services related to purchase agreements. Martin has extensive experience in cross border transactions involving owner managed small- to mid sized businesses, as well as in supporting private equity clients and their portfolio companies in buy and build scenarios.
Martin began his career in 2013 at Deloitte in Hamburg, where he advised on national and international transactions of various sizes and also completed a secondment in Mumbai. His career then took him to Deloitte in Barcelona and subsequently to Alvarez & Marsal in Stockholm, before further expanding his expertise at CFGI in Hamburg.
In his work, Martin focuses on a hands on approach and the development of clear, value relevant recommendations. His priority is the efficient management of transaction processes together with his clients, supported by a strong “getting the deal done” mindset.
Martin holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Mergers & Acquisitions from the University of Münster as well as a German French double degree in International Management from NEOMA Business School in Reims and ESB Business School in Reutlingen.
